• Question: Are internships important for engineers?

      They are worth a go, but are different to apprenticeships. Essentially it is some form of work experience, which is always good to have. An internship may promote a company to you and you to a company, so could be a good way of finding permanent employment.

      Yes, I don’t see why not. They give you the opportunity of being offered a job with a company. However, there only generally short term and don’t usually allow yourself to gain qualification. If you were an undergraduate then an internship would be a good idea.

      I think internships are great! Its a fantastic way to learn and get a bit of work experience. It will also help you when you are trying to get a job/ apprenticeship in the future.
