I had no experience, when I first started. I had just come out of school (Year 11), when I started my career as a Civil Engineer. But before that I have not had much experience in the working world. So a complete Newbie

I came straight from GCSE level, so I had no experience and little knowledge in the construction industry.

Applying for a job can be daunting, but should never be a bad experience, especially for a younger person looking to get into the profession or join a company.

Although companies always seem to ask the questions “what can you do for our company”, they are just checking to see if you can think on your feet. They need you just as much as you need them, and if you were to have a bad experience applying for a job, you may not want to go there and would be within your right to turn them down if they offered you a job. They would then lose out on a eager individual that they can train and mold into there idea of a perfect employee!
